The 4th Annual Sandisfield Pig Roast was held Saturday at suppertime, September 19, at the American Legion pavilion in New Boston with about 120 people attending.

Organizers Zoe Nelson and Christine Nadelman said they "couldn't have done it without help from Steve Pincus, Barbara Cormier, Nina Carr, Billy Carr, Rose Nelson, Hanna and Phil Blume."

They also asked to thank all the guys who helped with the set-up and break-down of tables and chairs.

Christine said, "The food was delicious from John Ormsbee who roasted the pig, prepared the roast beef and stuffing. Tim McGrane of McGranes on the Green in Winsted made the sides of mac-n-cheese and coleslaw. Entertainment was by the fabulous band Harms Way, and we had a guest fire dancer, Dame of Flames.

A neighbor, Bonnie Scrivener who lives up the hill to the east, wrote on ConnectSandisfield/Facebook: "Thanks for letting Tolland folks attend. We had a wonderful time!!!
