Sandisfield came in second in the first Berkshire-wide "The Toss: Cornhole Classic" held in late August in Great Barrington.

Organized by State Rep. Leigh Davis to help "build community and express gratitude to our first responders," police, fire, and EMS personnel from Berkshire County were invited to compete in a cornhole-tossing contest. Nine towns turned out.

From Sandisfield, our contestants were Firemen John Boulais and Douglas Miner. Only Great Barrington beat them, with Becket third and Alford fourth.
