The Sandisfield Conservation Commission is a local municipal agency consisting of five interested community volunteers, appointed by the Select Board to enforce the state Wetlands Protection Act, to manage town conservation land, and to protect its natural resources. The Commission serves as a liaison to the Department of Environmental Protection of Massachusetts.

The commissioners are unpaid municipal employees. They must take Conflict of Interest Training and are sworn into office by the Town Manager. Meetings are open to the public and are usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Old Town Hall, 3 Silverbrook Rd, 7:00 pm.

Current members are Mary Turek, Chair, Eric Hartshorn, Anne Mihalick, Deidre Pytrl, and Theresa Spohnholz.
