Created for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a presentation at the Sandisfield Arts Center Saturday, August 29, at 7:00 p.m., will provide a unique look at American history. Admission is free to all.

Songwriters and musicians, Jon and Li Waterman have performed their music and history programs as the duo "Sultana" in venues throughout New England as part of a series called Live Music Making History Live.

The series was designed to encourage the celebration and exploration of history through music. The program is supported in part by a grant from the Sandisfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
