The Divorce by Freida McFadden, a fast-paced, psychological thriller that follows Naomi, whose perfect life is shattered by her husband. Naomi becomes dangerously obsessive in her quest to uncover her husband's new girlfriend's secrets.

Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth. The novel is genre defying, part psychological thriller and deeply moving, a character-centered mystery with a touch of dark humor.

The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Stout. A high school history teacher plans a life altering event until an accident shifts his perspective.

You Won't Get Free of It - Stories of Mothers and Daughters by Rachel Aviv. A collection of essays exploring mother and daughter relationships through the stories of searching, sacrific, and hidden truths.

Catch the Devil: A True Story of Murer, Deception, and Injustice on the Gulf Coast by Pamela Colloff. A dark tale of a remorseless and brilliant liar that made lethal by a legal system more concerned with making convictions than serving justice.
