Sandisfield's Liana Toscanini received the Judge John A. Barry Community Service Award at Hillcrest Educational Center's St. Patrick's Day Celebration on March 12. The award recognizes outstanding service to the nonprofit community and the citizens of Berkshire County. The late Judge Barry presided over the District Court of Northern Berkshire and was actively engaged in civic and nonprofit leadership, including serving as Board President of Hillcrest. Hillcrest Educational Center provides a range of care for children with complex psychiatric, behavioral, and development disorders.
