Another year, another Pig Roast for Sandisfield. This year the weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, and no rain.

We enjoyed our usual feast of whole roasted pig, a whopping 110 lbs., along with 40 lbs. of roast beef and stuffing all prepared by John Ormsbee Sr., and his crew. McGrane's on the Green in Winsted catered mac & cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. The sweet corn on the cob was grown and sourced locally from Taft Farms in Great Barrington.

We enjoyed an al fresco dinner this year as we moved nearly all seating outside to take advantage of not only the ideal weather, but this year's entertainment, Full Burn.

A special thank you to our volunteers: Zoe Nelson, Barbara Cormier, Mackenzie Boulais, Janey Snyder, Tom Fleming, Melissa Bye, and Mary Bredenfoerder.
