Knox Trail Documentary Premiere in-person and via Zoom on Thursday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Monterey Public Library. "The Knox Trial" is a 12-minute documentary tracing the history of the famous route. This program will include a discussion with the producers of the film and local historian Tom Ragusa following the video viewing. Free, but registration is required otispreservationtrust.com. Live Music in the Hills on Saturday, August 2, at 6:30 p.m. on the Tolland Town Green (or in the church in case of rain). Free coffeehouse style with light refreshments. End of Summer/Back to School Celebration on Saturday, August 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Becket Federated Church on 3391 Main Street in Becket. Bounce House with waterslide, climbing wall, balloon animals, kids' crafts, backpack giveaway, vendors, bake sale, DJ, raffle. Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 24 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Chesterwood in Stockbridge. An old-fashioned ice cream social with free ice cream and games in the Studio Garden. Free for all children under 18. Chesterwood is the summer home, studio, and gardens of sculptor Daniel Chester French.
