Two scholarship opportunities are now available to Berkshire County residents seeking education and training beyond high school. The Berkshire Catalyst Scholarship supports individuals pursuing up to two years of training in the trades and related support technologies. Eligible fields include healthcare, construction, automotive technology, culinary arts, and similar career pathways. Established in 2025, the Robert Annelli Family Scholarship serves residents of New Marlborough, Monterey, Otis, Sheffield, and Sandisfield who are working toward a vocational or technical certificate or degree. Funding may be used at a community college, technical or trade school, vocational program, or other approved professional training program. In addition to tuition, awards may help cover certification or licensure fees and exams (when applicable), along with necessary tools, textbooks, transportation, and childcare expenses. Individuals who have not completed high school or earned a high school equivalency credential are welcome to apply. The application deadline is March 15. Applicants must create an account through the scholarship portal and submit the appropriate application.
These same applications may also be used by students planning to attend a two or four-year college, university, or other postsecondary program. All applicants are automatically reviewed for every scholarship for which they are eligible, including awards not specifically listed above. Questions may be directed to scholarships@berkshiretaconic.org. Additional details are available at berkshiretaconic.org/scholarships.
