Please note: The Library will be closed Saturday, November 9 and Monday, November 11 for Veterans Day.

We will also be closed Saturday, November 30, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Events at the Library this month.

November 21, Thursday at 6:30 p.m., the Sandisfield Women's Book Group will meet to discuss The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict. The book is a historical novel focusing on the life story of film actress Hedy Larmar. In her novel, which is based on the famous Hollywood actress of the 1930s and 40s, the author uses the political machinations of World War II and Lamar's experiences to explore performativity, guilt, and sexism. The group's meeting this month will take place at the Sandisfield Library.

November 20, Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., we will have Games Night at the Library. Join in for the flavor of the month, which is Scrabble! All ages are encouraged. Bring your wits and your smiles. And even all of your two-letter words. Light refreshments provided.

All month long it is never too late to participate in the Massachusetts Center for the Book 2024 Reading Challenge. November's book is a relaxing, soul-soothing book. We all need one of those!
