October 24, Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., the Sandisfield Ladies Book Club will meet to discuss “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amos Towles. The story of an unrepentant aristocrat who in 1922 is sentenced to live in an attic room while the tumultuous events of Russia unfold outside the hotel doors. The meeting will be at the Sandisfield Library. October 23, Wednesday, starting at 6:30 p.m., we have Games Night at the Library. Join in for the flavor of the month, which is Scrabble! All ages are encouraged. Bring your wits and your smiles. We’d love see them both. Bring your two-letter words, too. Light refreshments provided. All month long – It is never too late to participate in the Massachusetts Center for the Book 2024 Reading Challenge. October’s book is a time in history that you’d like to know more about. October 12, Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. Arr me matey, partake in me Pirate adventures at the Sandisfield public Library with Ed the Wizard. Treasure Hunt:

October 31, Thursday, Trick or Treat at the Library. The Library will once again be part of the Sandisfield Recreational Committee’s Trick or Treat Trail. The doors will be open for treats, (no tricks) and book lending. Join us from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
