The Sandisfield Ladies Book Club met for a potluck dinner in August at Ellen Croibier’s home before discussing The Little Mo Effect by Pier Boutin. Pier lives and works in Great Barrington and attended the dinner with her daughter, Ace, and partner, Jack. From left to right, the attendees were: Rosanne Skrip, Rosanne Hoekstra, Diane Christian, Joanne Olson, Pier, Ellen, Jack, Anita Carr, and Ace.
The following month, the Club met at the Sandisfield Library where they reviewed The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocum. Again from left to right, Anita Carr, Gloria Spector, Diane Christian, Jo Freedman, Connie Canty, Mary Gonzalez, Joanne Olson, and Terry Spohnholz. Ellen Croibier didn’t get in this photo, since she took it.
If you’d like to be part of the Sandisfield Ladies Book Club, call Terry Spohnholz at the Town Library (258-4966) and she’ll set you up. Their next meeting is October 24 at the Library. Under discussion will be the terrific A Gentleman from Moscow by Amor Towles. |
