Elementary Principal Laurie Flower wished everyone a Happy New Year in her January Newsletter. "Let's make 2025 a fantastic year!"

Her January newsletter was filled with updates, reminders, and celebrations that highlight all the great things happening in the elementary school community. She wrote: "You'll find a spotlight on our Accelerated Reader Point Earners, as well as a creative showcase in our Bulletin Boards Montage. We've included important reminders about positive bus behavior and updates from Grades 6, 5, and Pre-K. We're also excited to share photos from our Dragon Eggs Reward, along with information about the RAC (Regional Advisory Council) from the school committee. Finally, don't miss the local event flyers to stay connected with our broader community. Thank you for your continued support and partnership."

She included a schedule of specific events in January, some of which occurred before our January 15 publication date for our combined Jan/Feb issue of The Times. But we can include:

Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 20. No school.

The Ned Show Assembly on Wednesday, January 29 at 9:00 a.m. This show will inspire students and help them with mindset, perseverance, and character-building.

WINTER BREAK from Monday, February 27 though Friday, February 21.
