The Tolland Cultural Council has announced a monthly acoustic music series beginning February 15, an open-mic night.

The coffee house-style events will be open and free to all.

The Council is planning events through October. They will take place at the Tolland Public Safety Complex where light refreshments will be offered, along with "walk-in" and scheduled music.

Coordinator Kristine Seney said, "The series is intended to gather the community and to share talent."
