ONLINE EVENTS A Farm and Garden Show with Sandisfield Residents Bill Taylor and Jaye Alison Moscariello streamed every Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at berkshireradio.org. Actress Sheryl Faye as Eleanor Roosevelt on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m., a virtual performance via Zoom. The Otis Historical Commission and Otis Preservation Trust hosts its third Notice Otis cultural event of the 2024-2025 year. A discussion about Eleanor Roosevelt's tie to Otis will follow the one-woman performance by Sheryl Faye. Admission is free but pre-registration is required. EVENTS IN SURROUNDING TOWNS Crafting Conversation with Susie Kandt on Wednesdays, January 8 through April 30 from 3:00 to 5:00 at Berkshire South Community Center in Great Barrington. Bring your current project to Berkshire South and work alongside others in a casual and friendly atmosphere focused on creativity and light conversation. This is a great opportunity for people looking to connect with the creative community. Free. Berkshire Grown Winter Farmers Market on Saturdays, January 18 and February 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Housy Dome on 1064 Main Street in Housatonic. Featuring locally grown and produced foods, including greens, winter squash, root crops, apples, cheese, meats, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, and more. Local musicians perform. Nature Journaling for the New Year with Lara Tupper on Sunday, January 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Becket Athenaeum on 3367 Main Street in Becket. Pause to consider the effects of the winter season on your body and mind. There will be a short walk outside to hone the senses. Please bring a notebook and a pen.
